Long-haul flights feel different when you have extra space and better service. Many travelers look for a middle option that improves comfort without the full cost of business class.
EVA Air Premium Economy Class delivers wider seats, more legroom, upgraded meals, and thoughtful extras that make long journeys more pleasant. The cabin sits between economy and business, offering a clear step up in comfort and attention.
EVA Air Premium Economy Seats Recline and Dimensions
The seats stand out for their space and design. On most aircraft the pitch measures about 38 inches, with a width of roughly 19.5 inches. Newer seats on selected Boeing 787-9 aircraft offer an industry-leading 42-inch pitch. The recline reaches about 8 inches through a cradle motion that slides the seat cushion forward, so the passenger behind keeps most of their space. Adjustable headrests, footrests, and side privacy panels on newer models add comfort and a sense of personal space. Large entertainment screens, power outlets, and USB ports come standard at every seat.
Eva Air Premium Economy Benefits
Eva air premium economy benefits go beyond the seat itself. Passengers receive a soft pillow, a warm blanket, and noise-canceling headphones. On many long-haul routes, especially to the United States, Canada, and Europe, an amenity kit with useful toiletries is provided. The cabin feels quieter and less crowded than economy, and service is more attentive. Soft lighting and extra storage help create a calmer atmosphere for rest or work.
EVA Air Premium Economy Baggage Allowance and Dining
EVA Air Premium Economy baggage allowance and dining add real value. Most routes allow two checked bags of up to 23 kg (50 lbs) each, which is more generous than some basic economy fares. Carry-on remains one bag of up to 7 kg plus a small personal item. Meals arrive on proper trays with metal cutlery and a choice of main courses. The food quality and presentation sit clearly above standard economy, with more beverage options including wine and soft drinks served throughout the flight. Special meals can often be pre-selected.
